The Contest (or Favorite Picture to Work of Art)
We are taking photo
submissions from 3/4/16 to 3/11/16. Five photos will be chosen (by Decals
Extreme Online) to undergo an artistic transformation into a work of art. The
design of the photo is left to the sole discretion of the graphic artist. After the completion of the "art
work", the "before & after" of all five photos will be
submitted to the Decals Extreme community and a vote will take place to
determine the 1st place winner and an announcement email will be sent as well
as an announcement on Decals Extreme Online web site. All contest decisions are final. Entries that
fail to comply with the Official Contest Rules will be disqualified.
Winners / Prizes
Each of the five winners
will receive a 10.00 dollar gift certificate for Decals Extreme Online as well
as an 8 x 10 artistic print of their picture at no charge. Winners will be
notified by email using the information on the entry form. Winning photographs
(before and after) along with the photographer's first name and last initial
information will be displayed on Decals Extreme Online website. The 1st place
winner will receive a 50.00 gift certificate as well as the 8 x 10 picture and
a key chain.
Photo Eligibility
Entries must be submitted by the original photographer. Do not submit a photo
taken by someone other than you. You must be the sole owner of the copyright of
any image submitted. Your submission of the photo and entry form is your
guarantee that you are the author and copyright holder of the photo.
Number of Entries
An individual may submit up to 3 photos.
Photo Subject
Restrictions
Photos must be appropriate for posting on a public website. Obscene,
provocative or otherwise questionable content will not be considered. Decals
Extreme Online retains sole discretion as to what constitutes inappropriate
content.
Ownership/Use Rights
You retain your rights to your photograph; however, by entering the contest,
you grant www.DecalsExtremeOnline.com (and
those authorized by www.DecalsExtremeOnline.com) a royalty-free, world-wide,
perpetual, non-exclusive license to publicly display, distribute,
reproduce and create derivative works of the entries, in whole or in part,
in any media now existing or later developed, for any www.DecalsExtremeOnline.com purpose, including, but not limited to,
advertising and promotion of the magazine and its website, exhibition, and
commercial products, including but not limited to www.DecalsExtremeOnline.com publications. Any photograph reproduced
will include a photographer credit as feasible. www.DecalsExtremeOnline.com will not be required to pay any additional
consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with such uses.
How to Enter
Digital photos are submitted using the online entry form. If you are submitting
multiple entries, a form must be submitted for each entry. Complete the
form carefully to ensure we are able to credit the correct photographer and
make arrangements for the awarding of prizes. We will accept entries from 3/3 -
3/11.
Winners
Five finalists will be chosen and the submitted pictures will undergo graphic
design.

Images

are a minimum of 1600 x 1200 or 2 megapixels. Images that we are unable to process
may be rejected. Please contact us if

Additional Terms and
Conditions
Decals Extreme Online is
not responsible for computer system, hardware, software, or program
malfunctions or other errors, failures, or delayed computer transactions or
network connections that are human or technical in nature. Furthermore, Decals
Extreme Online is not responsible for: (i) lost, misdirected, misplaced,
illegible, unintelligible, incomplete, or late entries or (ii) any act, failure
to act, or delay regarding the transmitting or processing of entries. Decals
Extreme Online reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend
all or any portion of this contest without notice if factors beyond our
control, including technical difficulties, disrupt or corrupt the fair or
secure administration or operation of the contest. Void where prohibited. Decals
Extreme Online is entitled to interpret these rules as needed and its decisions
are final. Decals Extreme Online reserves the right to disqualify any entrant
that we have reason to believe is not the original work of entrant, or does not
otherwise meet the contest rules. If a winner is disqualified or determined to
be ineligible, an alternate winner will be selected using the same judging
process/criteria described above. Alternate winners are subject to all
requirements set forth in these Official Rules. By participating in the
contest, you agree to release and hold harmless the Decals Extreme Online and
its employees, officers, affiliates, agents, contest sponsors and advertising
and promotional agencies from any and all damages, injuries, claims, causes of
actions, or losses of any kind resulting from your participation in this
contest, including infringement of intellectual property rights. Decals Extreme
Online and its employees, officers, affiliates, agents, contest sponsors and
advertising and promotional agencies assume no responsibility or liability for
any damages, injuries, claims, causes of actions, or losses of any kind arising
in whole or in part from this contest
